How To Dress For the Royal Wedding

Posted on 0 0

Wedding dressing is hard enough at the best of times but what if you’re heading to the wedding of the year, possibly the decade. With less than a week to go until the big day we’ve asked our fashion expert to put together five chic wedding outfits from this season and the best jewellery from Berry’s to pair them with.

LOOK 1

Florals are always a favourite for an English wedding and who better to pick than one of Meghan’s favourite designers, Emilia Wickstead. These Kiki McDonough drop stones pick out the colours of the dress and are a flattering shade for any skin tone. A simple gold Gucci bracelet and nude shoes top off the look.

High necklines and floating sleeves are a winning combination and L.K.Bennett have got it very right this season with this cornflower blue number. These Bulgari earrings, mother of pearl set in rose gold, sit perfectly with the shade of blue – and this beautiful rose gold Patek Philippe timepiece will ensure you make it to the church on time!

Earrings – Bulgari

Hat – Lock & Co Hatters

LOOK 3

Erdem is another one of Ms Markels favourite British brands and no one does a floral quite like him. Kiki McDonogh’s bold citrine picks out the colours in the pattern and a Berry’s three stack ring offers the perfect added sparkle.

Dress – Erdem

Ring – Berry’s

Earring – Kiki McDonough

Shoes – Gianvito

LOOK 4

Block colours are a go to for the Duchess of Cambridge and this Goat dress is a wedding failsafe. Allow one of Philip Treacy’s creations to do the talking while stacking a Berry’s bangle with a two-tone Cartier Panthere watch – talk about wrist action!

Bracelet – Berry’s

Watch – Cartier

Headpiece – Philip Treacy

LOOK 5

While you need to tread carefully with red it doesn’t mean the fiery shade is totally off the menu. This high-necked piece from Peter Pilotto is elegantly cut and the capped sleeved bring a demure tone. Gold accessories sit perfectly with this shade – we love our Berry’s bangle and this Messika Paris ring together – and a touch of Louboutin at the toe.

Dress – Peter Pilotto

Bangle – Berry’s

Ring – Messika Paris

Shoes – Christian Louboutin
